The Bhagvatam

Our Story

The ‘Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam’ written by Rishi Vyasadeva, is an ancient Indian scripture that is about the life and times of Lord Sri Krishna, It explains the practices and the true teaching of Lord Krishna. It speaks of how an individual must renounce the concepts of “I, “Me, and “Myself” and eventually become a true “Bhagavatam,” or follower of Krishna, the transcendental avatar of Vishnu.

Bhagvatam by the Ganges is a spiritual escape on the banks of the holy River Ganges at Rishikesh. A floral mandala, the logo of Bhagvatam by the Ganges, depicts stability and support, and the 4 corners of the mandala are the spiritual representation of self-fulfilment, self-expression, maturity, and universality.

The colour of the mandala is turquoise, which represents calmness and tranquility, two of the most important things that you will seek here.

“By the Ganges” in our brand name is a notification to you that the property is on the banks of the river Ganga, which has been the lifeline of Indian spirituality for over 4000 years. The purple colour font of our logo represents exclusivity. Traditionally, in ancient India, purple items were exclusive because the dye was not easily available. Thus, our exclusive and premium property helps you rejuvenate and relax your body and mind in the holy city of Rishikesh.
